Lise Rowell, M.A. CCC
Lise is a graduate of Saint Paul University's M.A. in Counselling and she is a Canadian Certified Counsellor.
In her private practice at the Sana Centre in downtown Ottawa she provides counselling and psychotherapy for individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, disordered eating, addiction, grief or difficult life transitions.
She provides a safe and supportive environment and uses a variety of psycho-therapeutic approaches to help you to understand and address real-life difficulties that cause depression, anxiety, problems with self-esteem, and relationship struggles. Drawing on her education, clinical training and varied life experience she is able to respond to your need for short or long-term therapy, in which she works with you to:
- Identify the changes you want to achieve in your life and relationships
- Explore experiences and feelings from your past that keep you from living a healthy present
- Gain deeper insight into your needs, choices, beliefs, emotions, and behaviours
- Address and change habits, patterns or addictions that don't support a healthy lifestyle
- Develop tools, effective skills and pathways to help you move toward emotional wholeness
